Yağızcan KESKİN

He was born in 1993 in Izmir. In 2007, he was admitted to the Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory and started his education with Academician Ender Gulenler. He was awarded a scholarship by winning the "Young Musicians on the World Stages" contest, organized by the pianists Güher & Süher Pekinel in 2009. During his education, he performed in many concerts both in Turkey and abroad, including the Dogus Children's Symphony Orchestra, the Istanbul Clarinet Choir, the National Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Turkish-Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Bremen Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Turkish National Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and the Animato Foundation Philharmonic Orchestra. He won a number of prizes such as 3rd prize at the International Clarinet Competition, 2nd prize  at the Yasar University Chamber Music Contest, 1st prize at Bulgaria's Dobrich International Clarinet Competition. He represented Turkey in the 2016 Thomas Kuti International Clarinet Competition. He took part in the album of "Young Musicians on the World Stages" as a scholarship student in 2011 and graduated from the Dokuz Eylul University State Conservatory as a student of Ender Gülenler in 2013. He gave solo concerts accompanied by Dokuz Eylül University Academic Symphony Orchestra, ?zmir State Symphony Orchestra, Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra, Eski?ehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra and Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra. He had the opportunity to work with Guy Dangain, Michel Lethiec, Nicolas Baldeyrou, Christian Debauve, Alain Boeglin, Pierre Woudenberg, Eduard Brunner and Wenzel Fuchs. After attending in the joint class of Prof. Reiner Wehle and Prof Sabine Meyer at the Lubeck School of Music for his undergrate studies, he currently continues his master's education in the joint class of Prof Martin Spangenberg and Prof. Ralf Forster at the Hans Eissler School of Music in Berlin. He has been working in the Eski?ehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra since 2017 and continues to actively perform chamber music and solo concerts both at home and abroad.
