Fulya KILIÇTAÞ

She was born in Uskudar, in 1988. She began her studies as a student of Asst. Prof. Elhan RUSTEMOV at Eski?ehir Anadolu University State Conservatory in 1999. She was awarded the 2nd prize by performing W A Mozart’s Horn Concerto No:1,  in Professionals Category at the VI. International Classic Music Competition, organized by Edirne Trakya University Mimar Sinan Rotary Club in 2003. She made a solo appearance with Eski?ehir Anadolu University Symphony Orchestra (A.S.O.) performing W.A.Mozart’s Horn Concerto No:3. in 2006. In the same year, she attended in masterclass with Horn Pedegag Mahir Cakar, organized by Istanbul Onay Art and Exhibition House. She joined the Dogus Children's Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Conductor Rengim Gokmen between 2005 and 2007. She was transferred to Izmir Dokuz Eylul University State Conservatory in 2006 and continued her studies with Prof. A.Kerim GURERK. In 2007, she worked with Stefan Dohr on R Strauss’ Nocturne in Izmir, and worked with Markus Maskuniitty on H Busser La chasse de Saint Hubert and V Evald’s Symphony for Brass no:1, at the workshops called French Horn & Brass Quintet Workshops. She also worked with Hermann Baumann on W. Kalliwoda Introduction and Rondo fur Horn at the 3rd International Horn Workshop in Izmir in 2008. In the same year, she attended in masterclass with Cem Akcora in Ankara. In 2009, she performed with Golden Horn Quartet, and they were awarded the 1st prize playing F.C. Homilius’s Quartet in B-dur in the Yamaha Chamber Music Competition, organized by Erden Bilgen in Izmir. In same year, Golden Horn Quartet gave a recital, performing R. Schumann’s Konzertstück for Horn Quartet. She also appeared in concerts with Grup Alla Turca Woodwinds Ensemble in Centre de Congres Atria, Theatre Granit and Cathedrale Saint Christophe within the scoope of FIMU Festival, organized in Belford, France in 2009. She has served in Mersin State Opera and Ballet as a contracted artist in 2010. She has performed with Turkey Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (TUGFO) under the baton of Conductor Cem Mansur in various international festivals, including Beethoven Festival, Bad Woerishofen/Munich, Festival of the Nations and Bruckner Festival between 2011 and 2012. She also performed with Traveling Notes International Youth Orchestra in Tbilisi, Georgia in 2012. She also worked as a contracted artist in Antalya State Opera and Ballet between 2015 and 2017 and currently has been working in the Eski?ehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra since February 2017.
