Pınar BASALAK
She was born in 1981 in ?zmir. After she entered to the Viola Department of the State Conservatory of Anadolu University in 1992, she started her studies with Prof. KoralCalgan and Academician Eftal Altun. She continued her studies with Prof. Cetin Aydar by transferring to the State Conservatory of Dokuz Eylül University in 1993. In summer courses arranged in 1993- 94 and master class programmes 1999-2000 she worked with the State Artist Ru?en Güne?. She attended the music festival arranged in Belford of France in 1999, and she graduated with distinction in 2002. She started to work as an artist in Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra. In the same year, she performed as a soloist with the orchestra; in 2004 she passed the entrance exam of Akdeniz Youth Orchestra and became the principal viola of that orchestra during two years. She worked with Prof. Raymond Glatard, Jean Sulem, Vitali Coel between the years 2005-2006. She worked with Jean Sulem in Tibor Vargo course arranged in Sion of Sweden in 2005. She continued her works with Prof. Raymond Glatard at Conservatoire National Superior de musiqueet de danse de Paris. After she passed the International Orchestra Institute Attergau under the baton of Christopher Essenbach in 2007, she attended the Salzbourg Festival with that orchestra. She took part in Schleswig Holstein Music Festival accompanied by Bilkent Symphony Orchestra in 2012. She has still continued to perform as an Assistant of Principal Viola with Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra.
