Serkan ÝÞCAN

He was born in Izmir, in 1977. He entered Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory in 1993 and started his training with Oktay AYKOC. In 1996, he continued his undergraduate studies with Kaya DEM?RCAN and graduated in 2001. During his studies, he has performed in various concerts in school orchestra and as a chamber musician. In 1998, he gave concerts with the school orchestra at the FIMU International Music Festival in France. He has performed with the EGSO under the baton of Conductor Ender SAKPINAR and made guest appearance with the Antalya State Symphony Orchestra. He also worked as a contracted artist in ?zmir State Opera and Ballet between 1999and 2001. After he passed the entrance exam for the Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra, he has been serving in this orchestra as a percussionist since 2001.
